Warranty terms

Indiana Bows warrants any new bow for 1 year for the “STANDARD” version; 2 years for “CUSTOM” and “PREMIUM” versions that do not use fiberglass; and 3 years for “CUSTOM” and “PREMIUM” versions laminated with wood, bamboo and fiberglass. The warranty starts on the pickup/shipping date of the bow. It guarantees the bow will be free from defects in materials or workmanship.

If the warranty is claimed and the bow cannot be repaired, Indiana Bows will build a new bow to replace the defective one.

The warranty does not cover strings, arrow rests and/or any cosmetic appearance caused by normal wear or use, including scratches, chips, dents, etc.

The owner must keep this warranty statement for reference and to prove eligibility.

If the warranty does not apply, all repairs will be carried out and 100% of the cost of parts and labor will be the bow owner’s responsibility.

Removing the bow’s serial number or any alteration of the model voids all warranties.

Voiding the warranty

Strings and arrow rests are consumable parts of a bow and are subject to many conditions beyond Indiana Bows’ control. These parts can change or hinder the bow’s performance, so they cannot be covered by the warranty.

Damage caused by improper assembly, mistreatment/misuse, abuse or modifications is not covered and voids the warranty.

Indiana Bows is not liable for any incidental or consequential damages that cause any kind of expense, whether resulting from or related to personal injury, property damage or otherwise. That is, any physical/material damage caused by using the bow for any purpose other than target shooting in a proper place, following safety principles, is not the manufacturer’s responsibility.

Any quiver or accessory mounted on the bow must not go past the fadeouts on the bow’s riser. Going past them can damage the bow, and the warranty will not apply.

No repair or structural modification of the bow is authorized except by the manufacturer, under penalty of losing the warranty.

Using an unsuitable arrow can damage the bow’s structure, and this is not covered by the warranty. The ideal arrow weight follows this rule: 9 gpp (9 grains per pound of draw weight).

Shooting the bow without an arrow (“dry fire”), whether by accident or on purpose, can damage the bow’s structure, and this is not covered by the warranty.

How to claim the warranty

This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights, which vary by state.

If a bow needs warranty service, contact Indiana Bows at indianabows@gmail.com.

Indiana Bows is not responsible for unauthorized or retailer labor fees.

Damaged/broken bows within the warranty period set for each model must be returned for analysis and the resulting repair/replacement process. Not returning the damaged/broken bow to Indiana Bows voids the warranty immediately.

Shipping and insurance fees for returning any bow under the 90-day legal warranty, counted from the date the bow is received, are Indiana Bows’ responsibility. After that period, and until the end of the contractual warranty (1, 2 or 3 years, depending on the version), all shipping and insurance costs to return any bow are outside the terms of this warranty and are the owner’s responsibility.

Safety rules

Never “dry fire” your bow (shooting the bow without an arrow).

We do not recommend using an arrow below 9 grains per pound of draw weight. A very light arrow can behave like a dry fire.

Make sure the arrows you choose are the right length for your draw, with a spine/stiffness matching the bow’s draw weight.

Discard any arrow that shows signs of wear or cracks.

Never draw or shoot your bow if someone is between you and your target.

Always make sure the area behind your target has no foot traffic of people or animals.

Cancellation and returns

If you cancel a purchase within the 7 calendar days provided by law (article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code), or return the product within 7 calendar days of receiving it, a 10% fee on the purchase amount applies and is deducted from the refund.

If the product is returned because of cancellation, shipping costs are paid by the customer.
